Analýza možností monetizace videoher

Abstract

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to introduce the public to the possibilities of monetizing video games. The theoretical part defines selected concepts and methods, in particular strategic management, strategic analysis, PEST analysis, questionnaire and survey and also defines the division of video games with their brief description and monetization options. The thesis will also highlight the issue of the grey market and piracy. In the practical part of the thesis the aim is to analyse the industry environment of the video game market in the Czech Republic, i.e. what is the demand for workers in this industry, to identify possible future trends and to define the customer using a questionnaire. PEST analysis was used to meet the selected objectives. The result of the thesis was the identification of the structure of the workforce in the video game environment, the identification of potential customers and their preferences and the analysis of possible future trends that may influence the video game market.
