Abstract
The aim of this thesis was to bring pressurized solvent extraction and supercritical fluid extraction into operation of analytical laboratory and find optimal operating conditions for extraction of organic compounds from solid matrices by using these methods. The theoretical part contains an overview of current extraction methods for solid matrices. The practical part includes a description of used extraction instruments and experiments used to find optimal operating conditions. These conditions were then used to extract organic compounds from sewage sludge. The last part of this thesis is evaluation of experiments results.
