Brownfieldy v Krnově jako příležitost budoucího rozvoje

Abstract

This diploma thesis deals with the issue of brownfields, specifically brownfields in the town of Krnov. It is divided into several parts. In addition to defining the objectives of the thesis, which is primarily to create materials for promotion of regeneration of brownfields in Krnov and thereby contribute to development of the town, an integral part of the thesis is a theoretical input to the issue of brownfields and their regeneration. The main part of the thesis is devoted to updating the database of brownfields in Krnov and application of the proposed evaluation method (this evaluation method should help to better and faster orientation for interested town nebo municipality officials) to the registered areas. The database from 2004 was updated. In the conclusion of the thesis is then indicated how the approach to investments on the brownfields could look and a brief analysis of needs of the territory is performed, same as an evaluation of state of the location. Proposed functions should serve as a basis for discussion about future use of the location.
