Hodnocení kvality vody v řece Ostravici

Abstract

This search retrieval type diploma thesis deals with problematic of natural ratios between the city of Ostrava and the Ostravice River. Main part of this diploma thesis is described in experimental part which focuses on water quality evaluation on the Ostravice River. Based on data provided by the Odra river society, the pollution of surface water was evaluated in last eleven years. Official legislature is also summarized in this part and its main factors that have influence on surface water pollution are also mentioned in this part. The Ostravice River has limits specified by government laws number: 229/2007 of collection act and 23/2011 of collection act that is changed by the later law 61/2003 of collection act about pointers and allowable values of surface water pollution and wastewaters, requirements of polluted waters discharging into surface waters and to sewers and about sensitive areas. Mentioned values were compared with values of quality classes according to ČSN 75 7221 standard - Quality of waters – classification of surface water quality. Conclusion of this thesis contains recommendations for future of the Ostravice River water quality improvements.
