Abstract

This master thesis is aimed on the Culture and Education Centre of Moravská Ostrava, contributory organization financial management. It is an organization founded by a local authority. The main purpose of the thesis is to formulate some appropriate recommendations to optimize the financing activities of the organization, based on the analysis of contributory organization financial management. The theoretical part describes the regional culture financing through the local authority contributory organizations and their issues. The second part focuses on the financial management of the organization, based od the theoretical knowledge from the first, theoretical part. The contributory organization and its financial management during years 2008 – 2012 both, the main and supplementary activities are characterized in this section. The third part includes the evaluation of the Culture and Education Centre of Moravská Ostrava, contributory organization financial management for the period of five years and some recommendations how to optimize the financing of the organization.
