Abstract
This dissertation work is deals with the influence of DC electric field on combustion processes of methane and oxygen mixture. Was performed a series of measurements, which are tasked to verify the influence of electric field on the flame created from a mixture of methane and oxygen and further understand of this interaction. There are comparisons of results with an applied electric field to the combustion process and state without the application of an electric field to the combustion process. There are also described phenomena’s, which are observed in the combustion process in the presence of an electric field. The aim of this study is experimental research in area of influence of electric field on methane and oxygen combustion mixture applicable to metal heating technologies.
