Financial Performance Analysis of the Company in the Car Industry

Abstract

The purpose of this thesis is to analyze Toyota's financial position for 2016-2020 by means of financial analysis, to assess the company's financial position for the last five years, and to find out the significant factors influencing the company's financial position in order to observe the current and future direction of Toyota's development. This thesis is divided into five chapters. In chapter 2, I will elaborate on all the theories covered in chapter 4 of this thesis. In Chapter 3, some basic information about Toyota Motor Corporation is introduced, such as the company profile, history and main business, which will set the stage for the contents of Chapter 4. Chapter 4 is the practical application of the principles of Chapter 2, specifically the financial analysis of Toyota Corporation in Japan, and is the most important chapter in this thesis. Chapter 5 is a concluding section, which is mainly a summary of the whole text, especially Chapter 4.
