Abstract

Graduation theses describes today's usage garnets in jewelery, but particularly in technical practice, where they have solid place for excellent qualities. Garnets have a high hardness, the same physical properties in every way and not fission (cleavage). They are chemical inert, characteristic fracture and fragility etc. They are appropriate for abrasive due to these characteristics and used for dressing in broad spektrum of surfaces and for lot of grinding methods. Also describes the way of preparation the raw materials.
