Abstract

This bachelor´s thesis deals with the methodology of aluminium sheet hybrid connection by riveting and bonding with possible uses in battery boxes of electric vehicles. At the beginning of the thesis modern manufacturing technologies of joints applied for battery boxes in electric vehicles are summarized. The theoretical part is focused on technologies of rivet joints and the technology of adhesives. Several experimental measurements in shear strength for that type of hybrid joint were performed here. In the practical part of the thesis there is a detailed description for preparation of samples and the performance of a series of experimental tests. Towards the end of the thesis the measured values for this type of „hybrid“ joint are evaluated.
