Abstract

Recruitment and selection of staff is the cornerstone for hiring qualified and quality employees, which are able to perform the necessary work. Objective of this bacalar thesis is to analyze the process of recruitment and selection of employees at Orlická Water Company, Inc., to highlight potential problems and suggest appropriate solutions that will eliminate the identified problems and streamline the process of selecting employees. The whole process was analyzed on the basis of personal structural interview with company recruiters. It was examined whether there getting the widest array of qualified candidates at the lowest possible rate fluctuation that there are no discriminatory tendencies in personnel selection, taking into account the need to minimize the costs of the process itself. The first part was further specified theoretical basis of the work, obtained in the study of literature with a particular specification of each method. The second part is devoted to the description of the analyzed subject to specific characteristics of the type currently used methods and procedures for the selection and recruitment of selected companies. It was found that the efficiency of the process of recruitment and selection of employees can not be accurately assessed because the company does not use all the necessary parameters to evaluate the whole process. Neevidováním all costs incurred in the selection process and disregarding the frequent departure of employees are fundamental flaws that should be eliminated. The company was to create a job description, because in the process of recruitment will appeal too many unsuitable candidates to increase the cost of the tender. Advertise job vacancies on the Internet would also contribute fucking had to reach targeted groups of job seekers. Another suggestion was to focus on the quantification of the costs associated with the selection process and identifying the reasons departing employees, which may be more, but only their knowledge, they may prevent the company and increase the stability of society.
