Návrh EDC aplikace pro klinický záznam dat na oční klinice FNO

Abstract

The purpose of this thesis is to design applications for EDC clinical data recording for eye clinic at the Hospital in Ostrava. This application is intended to help facilitate the operation of the clinic and processing of patient data during ongoing medical studies. Because each trial proceeds in accordance with relevant guidelines and regulations, the application will be developed according to the evaluation tests of visual acuity by best corrected visual acuity. The theoretical part focuses on the general description of studies, analysis of the measurements of visual acuity, designing hardware platform for communication, describing hierarchical model and diagrams. In the practical part designs are transferred into practice by creating a multi-platform software applications called Visus running on the Android operating system designed for hospital staff. Furthermore, attention is focused on creating software database and data structure description. The aim is to verify the functionality and benefits of applying the established clinical trial.
