Způsoby hospodaření v lesích Ostravského regionu

Abstract

The thesis describes forest land in the Ostrava area and its health condition based on the conducted research in literature. It also describes production and management in the forest lands with regard to the type of property. The aim of the thesis is to introduce and compare the methods of forest management with a strong emphasis on functions such as production, out-of production and ecology. Important regulation means related to forest management consist mainly of forest management plans, forest economic outlines or the protected landscape area´s plans.
