Abstract

This final thesis solves way of water mixing from two quantitatively different resources so that output water would comply with requirements on drinking water quality level and consumption of both resources would be as effective as possible. The issue is solved within area of village of Bedzin - Grodzies (Poland). Area of consumption has two water resources: group pipe line with nitrates content under standard limit but with much higher price, and local well with nitrates content above limit. The solution is based on optimal utilizing of both resources so that financial point of view and quality of water according to standards are balanced.
