KŘÍŽ, K. Improving the perception of special warning signs of IRS vehicles. Diploma thesis. Ostrava: VŠB-TUO, FBI, 2015. 68p. The thesis is concerned with audibility and perception of special warning signs of IRS vehicles issues. Goal of the thesis is a proposal of possible steps or systems for warning drivers of approaching IRS vehicle. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. Basis of acoustic and sound physiology equally as technical description of special warning device are mentioned in this part. Possibilities of defective perception of special warning devices from the point of view of drivers are analyzed also in this part. Practical part of the thesis is focused on contemporary acoustic warning devices research through IRS organs. Further in this part a measurement of spreading the warning signal through vehicle construction and possible improvements of perception the warning signals are stated in this part.
