Euro a Česká republika

Abstract

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá vztahem České republiky a eura. První kapitola je věnována společné evropské měně, důvodům jejího zavedení a jejímu historickému vývoji. Druhá část je zaměřena na eurozónu, na její členy a na současnou ekonomickou situaci, která je ovlivňuje. Ze zemí eurozóny je věnován větší prostor Slovensku. Ve třetí kapitole jsem se soustředila na přijetí eura v České republice, na to jestli je stanoven termín jeho přijetí a na to, jakým způsobem ČR plní konvergenční kritéria, která jsou podmínkou pro vstup země do měnové unie. Především jsou v této kapitole blíže popsány jednotlivé výhody a nevýhody, které s sebou euro přináší.

This bachelor thesis focuses on the relationship between the Czech Republic and Euro. The first chapter deals with the single European currency, the reasons for its implementation, and its historical development. The second part focuses on the Euro area, its members, and current economic situation, which affects them. Greater attention amongst the European states is focused on Slovakia. The third chapter specifies the Euro acceptance in the Czech Republic, the deadline specification for its acceptance, the method of the Czech Republic compliance with the convergence criteria which form the precondition for the country’s entry to the monetary union. This chapter particularly describes in more detail the individual advantages and disadvantages of Euro implementation.
