Finanční analýza vybraného podniku

Abstract

The aim of this master's thesis is to assess the financial state of the company Severomoravské vodovody a kanalizace Ostrava a.s. (máte i anglický ekvivalent názvu?) through means of the financial analysis. In the reference period 2015-2017, a financial condition of the company is evaluated using horizontal and vertical analysis, ratios, DuPont analysis, bankruptcy models and financial standing models. In the first part of the thesis the company is introduced. The second, theoretical part, focuses on a description of financial analysis, terminology and its methodology. In the third and fourth part these methods are applied to a data from the selected company. In the third part, the indicators for the reference period are calculated and evaluated. In the final part, proposals and recommendations for improving company's financial situation are suggested.
