Abstract

The master's thesis is focused on the valuation of a company in the sector of leather production as of January 1, 2023. The thesis is divided into two parts: methodological and practical-applicational. The methodological part describes the basic concepts and components of the valuation process, such as strategic and financial analysis, financial plan, cost of capital, valuation methods and risk analysis. In the second part, the joint-stock company is introduced, followed by the processing of individual valuation components using specific company data. At the end of the work, the achieved results are evaluated, and a risk analysis is constructed.
