Abstract

The basic topic of this thesis is a process of molten metal production in conditions of DSB EURO, ltd. metal foundry. It focuses on review and evaluation of the process costs after changes made during melting. For this examination a method of a technical-economical analysis is used. Next part of the thesis is devoted to finding and judging dependencies in this production process. It investigates relations between cost and physical indicators. First it concerns relations between incomplete prime costs of molten metal and chosen free variables. Then relations between manufacturing costs and chosen free variables and last but not least among electricity consumption and melting period, heat time, weight prior to melting and molten metal weight.
