Abstract
The intention of bachelor thesis Marketing plan of athlete, is to create a marketing plan which is applicable onto individual top athlete Barbora Závadová, currently best swimmer from Czech republic. First part of this thesis is introducing basic theory of marketing utilized in sport or in selling sport products. Sport itself, for purposes of this thesis, is divided into three main categories: recreational, performance and top level. Furthermore, this thesis deals with the financial part of professional sport environment in Czech republic. Second part is focused on creating individual marketing plan for Olympic season. Setting up marketing goals of Barbora Zavadova, result should be visible and should lead to increase of awareness. Targets to be achieved by this thesis is set up on twelve PR evets, which are analyzed in detail plan. Those, that have already taken place, are also evaluated.
