Abstract

The diploma work the issue of coal mining on the environment in the area that is affected by the mining. It evaluates the environmental impacts of the city, especially the increased dust and noise. Surface mining is widespread in the Czech Republic, has very little positive impact on the environment. Negatively affects the landscape, agriculture, forestry, village, town, road construction and historical monuments.
