Abstract
The topic of this thesis is primarily the explanation of the term product, furthermore, how the product can be distinguished from its competitors and the importance of its brand and novelty.
There is explained the concept of a product life cycle and its role in determining the product strategy for the success on the market.
The last part is devoted to a new product development and phases needed for proper marketing.
