Abstract

This bachelor thesis focuses on public awareness in the field of transport of dangerous goods by road and the possibilities of its further development in the Czech Republic. The thesis describes the current state and possibilities of transport of dangerous goods in the Czech Republic with a special focus on the European Agreement on the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road. Furthermore, it explores the actual state of the matter through questionnaire surveys with the general public and semi-structured interviews with driving school instructors. The aim of this bachelor thesis was to conduct a study of the level of public awareness of the transport of dangerous goods by road and to identify key aspects that can contribute to improving public awareness of the transport of dangerous goods by road.
