Digitální model geologické stavby vápencového tělesa lomu Kotouč

Abstract

This thesis deals with creation and visualization of the limestone block of Kotouč quarry in mining area Štramberk I. The content is thematically divided into geological part and practical part. The first two chapters are devoted to familiarization with the history of mining and with geological structure of the Štramberk’s limestone block and its vicinity. The second part focuses on the preparation and processing of source data in ArcMap software. These are the data import, their editing and creation of TIN. The following steps are record of the main tectonic systems and the documentation points of selected sites of interest into the digital model. An integral part of this work is also the final visualization of the Kotouč quarry in ArcScene application environment.
