Nakládání s odpady ze zdravotnických zařízení

Abstract

The aim of this work is characteristic of waste that occurs in health activities and the handling is subject to strict national and international standards. The first section deals with the legislation applicable to the sector, division and the exact specifications of waste from hospitals, including their safe handling and disposal to protect public health. This is followed by a specific focus on the University Hospital in Ostrava with limited responsibility in waste management, methodological procedures throughout the process in the management of waste produced, to its subsequent transfer to specialized companies.
