Abstract
Development in the area of wood material renovation realized also their application in households or communal interiors. But the development relies increased fire danger by elevated fire charge of buildings. In term of prevention it is good to know all properties of combustible materials occurring in our vicinity and to find how they behave at the fire. Therefore it is necessary to find if by the renovation of furniture or sideboard. The fire danger will not increase caused by a surface change of the material adapted in such a way.
Theoretical part of the final work analyses a topic of a solids substance (wood) and polymers (wallpaper and foil) burning. There are covered ways of the tested material adjusting and the used methods in the work.
Experimental part of the final work were realized technical properties material renovation were tested : flash and flare temperature, oxygen number, combustion heat. Model test of the surface reaction adapted by a foil and wallpaper during their heat loading by a radiant heat source. The evaluating criteria was a weight loss the tested materials.
The discuses part of this work assess experimental results and their contribution for use of knowledge’s in applicable research a then application in practical life.
