Abstract

Title of the work: Optimalization and inventory management in the company Author: Tomáš Malík Bachelor thesis focuses on optimization and inventory management in the company of Kraft Foods CR s.r.o. faktory Valasske Mezirici. In the chapter characteristic optimization and inventory management are summarized gradually basic theoretical knowledge in regional management and inventory optimization. There is characterized by the gradual nature of stocks, their classification, management, optimization, procurement and purchasing department and evaluation of supplirs. In the chapter analysis of the situation is characterized by the company ie. its history, current status, department purchasing, supply management system. In the chapter assessment and solution design is performed first analysis of the evolution of the four main groups of stocks, ie. materials, work in process and finished products, goods and products for the period 2005 - 2008, then the ABC analysis of packaging materials (for the year 2009), then analyzed the three major suppliers of packaging materials. In conclusion, the evaluated results of the analysis and suggested possible improvements to the existing situation.
