Abstract

The subject of master thesis is the assessment of option for establishment of municipal police in a selected municipality. The first part of thesis is a theoretical part, which describes the municipal police, competence, authorities, duties and more. Following part is description of selected municipality and current security, including statistics of illegal activities in the municipality. As a part of thesis, was created a questionnaire, where the respondents answered for questions about safety in the municipality. From statistics and results of the questionnaire survey is based next chapter, risk analysis. The last part of thesis is the proposal of security measures and draft terms for the establishment of municipal police, including economic evaluation.
