Abstract
The aim of this bachelor thesis was, with using a plastometric simulations, to determine an effect of the temperature of the slabs heating made from grain oriented electrical steel B80EP and to define the effect of their roughing deformation regime, in the two-stand reversible strip rolling mill P1500 of the Steckel type in ArcelorMittal Ostrava a.s., on structural characteristics of the semi-rolled product. The plastometric simulations were performed on the Hot deformation simulator HDS-20 in VŠB-TU Ostrava. For these plastometric simulations were chosen three typical rolling regimes of investigated steel for the first six passes which differed in the temperature and the size distribution of the partial deformation. Based on the results it was found that the heating temperature or the size of the partial deformation in the six passes does not have significant effect on the microstructure of the semi-rolled product of the investigated steel. Chosen temperature regime of the deformation in each passes had a dominant influence on the microstructure of the investigated steel.
