Analýza vybraných procesů ve společnosti poskytující dopravní služby

Abstract

The bachelor thesis focuses on the analysis of selected processes in a company providing transport services. The thesis is specifically targeting the transportation processes of refrigerated goods. The aim of the thesis is to gather information about the organization of the examined process, analyze its course, and propose suitable directions for improvement. Information about the company was collected using informal interviews and questioning methods. Graphical techniques and process indicators were utilized for analysis, including time analysis using Gantt charts, calculation and analysis of the VAR indicator, and comparison of two situations using multiple criteria. The analysis identified both positive aspects and challenges of the process. It was found that the lead time is longer due to waiting for goods transport, reducing customer value-added activities. Additionally, a problem regarding operative changes in orders was revealed. Finally, possible solutions were recommended for the identified problems.
