Abstract

The thesis describes the composition of the variable costs in power station Počerady including the relative expression of individual parts. As fundamental for the optimization of variable costs is shown to achieve the maximum possible efficiency of electricity generation. This means the maximal usage of the potential current equipment by minimizing any losses. The other chapter of the thesis is devoted to procedures for managing the variable costs of power units used in power station today, describes the benefits and drawbacks of these procedures. Subsequently, the proposed solution for elimination the shortages of the current procedures is developed. This solution consists of creating synoptical and in practice usable graphics environment as an auxiliary means for operators to maximization efficiency of the operating process at any moment. In the case of availability of necessary inputs was calculated potential financial savings.
