Abstract

This thesis deals with the verification of flood control and soil protection from erosion in an area for which the comprehensive land consolidation project was established.The first part explains the basic theory of water erosion and its influence. It also gives a summary of verification methods. This is followed by explanation of the aim of land consolidation, its function and purpose. In the second part there is a cartographic model for calculation of the ammount of erosion created. Finally the changes in erosion after implementation of proposed precautions are examined.
