Abstract
This bachelor thesis focuses on the attitudes of Generation Z toward the work environment. The aim of the thesis is to identify key factors influencing the work preferences of this generation and to compare them with those of Generations X and Y. The theoretical part describes the specific characteristics of each generation, as well as the physical, social, and psychological aspects of the work environment. The practical part is based on quantitative research conducted through a questionnaire survey involving 154 respondents from various age groups. The results show that Generation Z places high importance on a pleasant work environment and salary level. Furthermore, it has been found that this generation reflects on the economic situation and cost of living more than others when making employment decisions. The thesis offers recommendations for employers on how to adapt the workplace to the needs of the younger generation and improve their integration into the workforce.
