Abstract
The Bachelor Thesis is focused on a human resource management of UNIPETROL RPA, s.r.o. that is a large industrial enterprise. The Thesis deals in detail with the staff´s selection and recruitment process. The first part of the Thesis sums up the important theoretical facts about human resource management, described by authors in professional publications. Gradually, there are briefly described the individual parts of human resources management. Two of these parts are described in detail and I deal with them in the practical part of the thesis. Furthermore the Thesis covers the job creation and analysis, personnel planning, recruitment, selection of workers, recruitment and orientation of employees, management of work performance and staff evaluation, placement, dismissal and retirement of employees, training and development of employees in the organization, remuneration, job relationship and care, personnel information system. The practical part analyzes the selection of employees and then the process of recruiting in Unipetrol RPA, s.r.o. That is, what methods of employee selection are used, what are the requirements for the candidates in the individual rounds of the selection process, how the selection of the most suitable candidate and the creation of the employment relationship works. In order to gain a description of the whole process, the method of individual conversation with the HR department employee was used.
