Abstract

The subject of the thesis is to create a script in the Matlab for calculation and plotting of eigen-shapes and eigen-frequencies of frame structures based on finite element method. The program work for the planar bar structures regardless of size and shape of the structure. The program offers possibility of choosing Bernoulli-Euler bar or Timoshenko bar using appropriate consistent mass matrices. Part of thesis is also the script for calculating and plotting the real vibration of structure based on initial conditions. All results were compared with commercial software SCIA Engineer and Dlubal RFEM.
