Světová finanční krize a její vliv na proces rozšíření eurozóny

Abstract

SVĚTOVÁ FINANČNÍ KRIZE A JEJÍ VLIV NA PROCES ROZŠÍŘENÍ EUROZÓNY Pavla Halamíková Diplomová práce analyzuje současnou finanční krizi a posuzuje, zda má tato krize nějaký vliv na proces přijímání společné měny Evropské unie zeměmi, které prozatím stojí mimo eurozónu. Práce je rozdělena do pěti kapitol. Úvodní kapitola popisuje cíl této práce, použité metody a hypotézu, která má být ověřena. Ve druhé kapitole je vysvětleno, co je to finanční krize, jaké mohou být druhy finančních krizí a jejich jednotlivé příčiny a důsledky. Kapitola také popisuje konkrétní finanční krize, které nastaly na konci 20. a na počátku 21. století. Třetí kapitola je věnována příčinám současné finanční krize a hodnotí situaci v USA a Evropě. Analýza je zaměřena na dopady světové krize a na způsoby jejich řešení. Podrobněji jsou rozebrány země Visegrádské čtyřky, jež dosud nejsou členy eurozóny. Čtvrtá kapitola se zaměřuje na vliv, který bude mít současná finanční krize na proces rozšiřování eurozóny. Zda dopady finanční krize posunou či přiblíží termíny přijetí eura ve vybraných zemích. Závěrečná část shrnuje poznatky z jednotlivých kapitol, pomoci kterých lze předpokládat další možný vývoj.

THE GLOBAL FINANCIAL CRISIS AND ITS IMPACT ON THE PROCESS OF EUROZONE ENLARGEMENT Pavla Halamíková This thesis analyses the current financial crisis and adjudicates whether this crisis has any impact on the process of the European Union united currency adoption among countries which are not yet the part of the Eurozone. The paper is divided into five chapters. The introduction describes the aim of this thesis, the used methods as well as the hypothesis, which has to be proven. The second chapter explains what the financial crisis is, which types of the financial crisis can be recognized, its causes and effects. This part also illustrates the financial crises from the end of 20th and the begin of 21st century. The third chapter is dedicated to the causes of the current financial crisis and it evaluates the situation in the USA and the Europe. This analysis focuses on the effects of the global crisis, the opportunities and possible solutions. In addition the 3 countries of the Visegrád four, which are not yet member of the Eurozone are detail analysed. The fourth chapter covers the impact of the current financial crisis on the process of the Eurozone enlargement. It disscusses the possibility whether the financial crisis will effect the time before adopting to the euro for the selected countries or not. The conclusion summarizes the findings for the separate chapters and gives a preview to the possible development.
