Dagmar Kutá, Ph.D. Pead.IGIP The subject of the diploma thesis is the analysis of public spaces in Zlín and, based on this, the proposal of a possible use and method of revitalization of public spaces. The text part is divided into theoretical and practical. The teoretical part includes legislation that regulates public spaces, research from the world and the Czech Republic. The practical part deals with the analysis of six secected public spaces. As part of the analysis, broader relationships, the history of the place, the tracing of the territory, or participation with residents. The conclusion of the analysis is the evaluation of the place – how to use it in the future and what are the limits of the place.
