Abstract

This thesis desribes individual professional practice in a company Vitesco Technologies Czech Republic s.r.o (as of January 1, 2026, the company has changed its business name to Schaeffler Motion Technologies CZ s.r.o) in the position of „IE SMT Department Assistant,“ i.e., in a department focused on surface-mount technology. During the practice, I became familiar with a program for protecting components against electrostatic discharge and did an audit of the production line’s electrostatic discharge protection measures. Furthermore, I gained expereince with automated optical inspection of components in manufacturing and trained artificial intelligence models.
