Abstract

In this thesis we will describe the process of replacing and old traditional roof with a modern double shell roof. We will point out the advantages of the double shell roof in terms of assessment under termal technology standarts. The thesis will also point to certain parts of the existing roof structure that need to be replaced to be able to accept the new structure. The paper indicates also some problems that are inherent with the original construction. The paper also describes how the new design corresponds with the new roofing technologies and the modern isolation requirements. The thesis consists of 63 pages and 16 drawings.
