Abstract
This bachelor thesis is devoted to development of value added tax in the years 2012 - 2015. The work is divided into five chapters. The first chapter is an introduction and conclusion is chapter fifth. The second chapter is focused on the harmonization of value added tax in the European Union. The third chapter deals with the development of value added tax in the Czech Republic in the years 2012 – 2015. The fourth chapter, the practical part, compares selected changes on practical examples.
