Abstract

Bachelor thesis deals with the issue of optimization of inventory control in the company Brose CZ spol. s.r.o. located in town of Koprivnice. The theoretical part is focused on basic knowledge in the area of inventory management and also includes a brief introduction of the company. Main task is to optimize the inventory system of company's largest current project by using a combination of ABC and XYZ analysis. The practical part describes current state of inventory management in the company and also the application of both analyzes. Analyzes are used here to devide material inventories into groups with similar needs. Thesis also contains a short recommendation, which can be used by the company for rationalization of inventory management system.
