Fotovoltaické systémy a jejich aplikace

Abstract

This work deals with photovoltaic, a field concerned with the use of solar energy and their applications. In the theoretical part of the basic terms are defined in this field. Followed by historical developments, the situation in the Czech Republic, the principles of fundamental physical phenomena. Lastly, the great importance is given to describe the P-N junction, which determines the conversion efficiency of light energy and to some extent limited by Shockley-Queisser limit. An analysis of the effects on the efficiency of photovoltaic systems, including solar radiation intensity, cell temperature, spectral sensitivity or the material used. The last section describes the practical use of photovoltaic systems. Among them are pivotal to ensure energy supply, not just telecommunications satellites, as well as telecommunications technology at remote locations to improve the provision of telecommunications services.
