Abstract
This bachelor thesis discusses a basic research of foundry cores from inorganic salts. There is selection of salts NaCl, KCl, and their properties. Mechanical properties: bending strength, moisture absorption, resistance to high temperatures and storage conditions. The optimum composition of the salt mixture for foundry cores, verification of the possibility of composite compositions (KCl+ZrSiO4).
