Abstract
This diploma thesis deals with the issues of the operation of photovoltaic power plants. In the introduction you can see the overall picture of the photovoltaic business in the Czech Republic, the description of the selection of power plants (power stations) earmarked for the monitoring and analysing of both active and reactive power. The isochronicity of active power is analysed in detail in a few real and simulated situations. Reactive power is examined at time of supply and consumption. Described is also the method of evaluation, sanctioning as well as a draft solution for the elimination of incorrect power factor and unwanted supply of reactive power to the distribution network. Next, active and reactive power for one photovoltaic power plant is examined in more detail including the quantification of the output and the calculation of penalties. Focus is also on the elimination of adverse impacts.
