Komparace franchisových sítí v oblasti fastfoodů v ČR

Abstract

This bachelor thesis compares three selected franchise networks in the fast-food sector in the Czech Republic: McDonald’s, Bageterie Boulevard, and Vosíme. The theoretical part defines the essence of franchising, its history, and the advantages and disadvantages of this business model. The practical part aims to identify the specifics of these concepts, focusing on initial investment costs, return on investment, operational autonomy, and the support system provided. The comparative analysis reveals key differences between global and local approaches to managing a franchise network within the Czech business environment. The thesis serves as a practical guide for entrepreneurs considering joining an established business system.
