Abstract

The Transmission of the Radio Data System over Frequency-Modulated transmitters has basically started mobile communication. Although the Paging service hasn’t been used in our country a lot, the core of the system has been developed. Today the system brings us information source. The Receiver delivers the text, graphics or voice information and maintains controlling and switching functions. The Radio Data System uses many different services. The goal of this thesis is to describe these services, technology and standards in relation to end-users and their practical application.
