Abstract

This project deals with the visualization (display) power values during battery recharging an electric vehicle. The graphic display shows the current measured values and the power consumption of electrical energy. Visualization is supplemented by illumination light socket. It is based on measurements in single or three phase network using the integrated circuit ADE7878. It is connected to serial communication with microcontroller Stellaris ARM Cortex M3, S8962, which controls the entire circuit. Then sends the measured value of the CANopen bus to other functional units in the electric car, supported by designated communication protocol. The program is for communication and calibration of the integrated circuit. The whole device should be able to run the self-measured quantities needed to determine the electric power. The functional model should be applicable to measurements on most electrical appliances. This would allow the equipment to be versatile and marketable.
