Abstract

This thesis focuses on the a modification of employee performance management system in a selected Firm. The introductory part presents the methodology used for the research and analysis. The second part is devoted to the theoretical background in the areas of human resource management, performance management, employee motivation, and evaluation. It also defines key factors influencing work performance and describes the performance management process itself.The third part introduces the selected organization. The final section of the thesis focuses on analyzing the current state of its performance management system. Data collection was carried out using a custom-designed questionnaire, which focused on identifying information and employee satisfaction with various aspects of performance management. In addition, internal company documents and two semi-structured interviews were used. The research results revealed dissatisfaction among employees, particularly in the areas of motivation and performance evaluation, as well as issues in interpersonal relationships at the workplace. This indicates a need to improve the working environment and foster better workplace relationships. Based on the findings, specific recommendations were proposed to improve the performance management system. The study also examined possible correlations between employee satisfaction and factors such as gender, age, or length of employment; however, no significant differences were found.
