Hodnocení jakosti dinasových výrobků pro koksárenské baterie

Abstract

The major proportion of the refractory materials used in construction of coke batteries present silica building materials. Their properties influence the lifetime of linings, speed of coking, as well as productivity of coking furnaces. Introduction of diploma work deals with development of coking industry on the territory of the Czech Republic since its beginnings till the presence. Further is described the process of coke production and general characterization of refractory material for lining of coke batteries – silica. In the core part of the diploma work are compared qualities of silica building materials produced in two different periods. Further are evaluated characteristics of silica blocks after twenty years of exploitation in the coking battery wall.
