Abstract

The main priority of the company RWE Distribuční služby is to secure safety and reliable operation of gas facilities. In order to accomplish this main task, the company's duty is to constantly improve and increase quality of services provided. This bachelor's degree work – the subject-matter of which was to analyse the overall way of securing the measurement and transmission of service data from gas control stations at the present time, including their archiving within the whole company, should contribute to fulfilment of this function, too. The goal of the bachelor's degree work was to process an analysis of fault messages with the focus on loss of data during connection failure between gas control stations and supervisory control and data acquisition system (SCADA). The proposed mode of solution should ensure a reliable, effective and, mainly, a unified mode of measuring and archiving of sevrice data in all control and measuring stations operated by the group RWE Distribuční služby.
