Abstract

The subject of this thesis titled Regional Hygiene Station Moravian-Silesian Region and its control activities are based on available information, analyse and evaluate the current organizational structure and the position of Regional Hygiene Station Moravian-Silesian Region (RHS MSR) as the administrative and supervisory authority of Czech republic, compare its management with other RHS in CR and possibly to formulate proposals for optimizing the operation. The work is solved from the perspective of non-profit economics and as a problem of public economics and management. The thesis´s highlights in particular the economic and legal aspects of the operation and management of the organization, particularly on the revenue and expenditure. The theoretical part explains the basic concepts, historical development of sanitary services and defines the public health authorities. In the practical part is solved a comparison of income and expenditure in time and region, and recommendations are formulated to optimize performance. The main method that was used in developing the practical part of the thesis is a monographic approach involving the collection, study and subsequent analysis and synthesis of available data and comparison over time and among other KHS in the Czech Republic.
